Facilities Technician

We are seeking an experienced Maintenance Professional to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for performing a range of maintenance tasks, including property and grounds maintenance.

As a Maintenance Professional, you will be working on a casual basis, typically 2 days per week. You will be required to work at two different sites, with one day based at the Cootamundra site and one day at the Temora site.

Your key responsibilities will include:

1. Performing general repairs around the site, including plaster repair, painting, basic plumbing and carpentry, moving furniture, high pressure cleaning, installing and repairing hardware
2. Carrying out preventative maintenance, including booking in scheduled maintenance with contractors or identifying work required by licenced electricians or plumbers
3. Completing grounds maintenance tasks, including gardening, mowing, weeding, leaf blowing, edging, plant care and other general grounds maintenance as required
4. Ensuring the site and equipment are maintained and well presented
5. Identifying and reporting hazards and safety issues

Essential Requirements:

• Experience in a similar role
• National Criminal History Check (Police Check) which is less than 3 years old
• Covid 19 Vaccination (minimum 3 doses)

Job Details:

This is a casual position, with a salary of $32.73 per hour. The expected hours of work are approximately 15 hours per week.

• Police Check (less than 3 years old) (preferred)

The position is based in person at the workplace.
