We are seeking a motivated and compassionate individual to join our team as a student placement in the disability sector. As a student placement, you will have the opportunity to gain valuable real-life experience and skills in supporting people with disabilities.

You will be buddied up with a Disability Support Worker based in our Mackay Hub and work alongside them in supporting our customers in a variety of social experiences such as sport, arts and craft, dance and special activities.

Our community hubs offer an inclusive environment that provides our customers the opportunity for learning, friendship, growth and fun. You will have the chance to work with a diverse group of people and develop your communication and teamwork skills.

About You

  • Currently studying a Cert III in Individual Support or similar
  • Ability to follow directions and work as an individual or as part of a team
  • Social, friendly and easy going - great people skills is a must
  • Compassionate nature
