We are seeking a reliable and safety-conscious individual to fill the role of Road Safety Supervisor in various school locations. This position requires providing on-site supervision at school crossings to ensure the safe passage of students, parents, teachers, and local motorists.
Key Responsibilities:
- Supervise school crossings to prevent accidents and ensure the safety of all road users.
- Develop strong relationships with children, parents, and teachers by being approachable and interacting positively.
- Work independently, making informed decisions to minimize risks and ensure road safety.
- Display excellent communication skills and remain vigilant for potential hazards.
Requirements:
- Must be at least 18 years old at the time of appointment.
- Will receive comprehensive training, uniforms, and equipment necessary for the role.
- Willingness to undergo a Working with Children Check, Reference Checks, Police Check, and a Health Assessment.
About the Role:
This casual position involves providing relief at various school sites within the Cumberland Local Government Area. Shifts may occur during peak hours between 8:00 AM and 9:30 AM, and 2:30 PM and 4:00 PM, Monday to Friday during school term.
