Senior Accounting Leadership Role
We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Accounting professional to lead our finance operations team.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the processing of invoices, payment runs and compliance with supplier/subcontractor terms
- Mentor and support AP & AR Officers in building their capability and resilience
- Ensure accurate processing and certification of subcontractor claims in Jobpac
- Monitor overdue debtors and support credit control processes
- Foster strong relationships with internal stakeholders and external suppliers
- Drive process improvements and contribute to system enhancements
- Act as escalation point for supplier and client queries
Requirements:
- Demonstrated experience in Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable within a complex multi-entity environment
- Construction industry background with knowledge of subcontractor claims, retentions and contractual requirements
- Previous experience supervising or mentoring finance officers
- Proficiency in Jobpac (or similar ERP systems) is desirable
- Strong attention to detail, communication skills and ability to influence stakeholders
- A proactive and solutions-focused approach
