About the Role
The Director, Centre for Excellence in Early Childhood Quality and Transitions leads a multi-disciplinary team focused on the design and delivery of initiatives, tools and resources to support Early Childhood practice excellence, learning frameworks and assessment, transition to school improvement and learning quality.

Skills and Experience
- Demonstrated leadership with deep understanding of the early childhood education and care service system, practice quality and capability uplift.
- Significant experience in strategic planning, change management, delivery for impact and people leadership.
- Demonstrated extensive experience at a senior level in the management of a large complex organisation.
- Proven ability to communicate with significant influence, establish positive stakeholder relationships at all levels and negotiate competing priorities.
- Proven leadership in a range of demanding and influential roles.
- Highly developed organizational skills with a demonstrated ability to effectively manage competing priorities and meet deadlines.
- Appropriate tertiary qualifications in a relevant discipline such as education, business, management, social sciences or communications, and/or equivalent knowledge and experience.
- Hold a valid clearance to work with children (Working with Children Check).
- Demonstrated understanding of and commitment to the value of public education.
