Network Automation Engineer

We are seeking a highly skilled Network Automation Engineer to join our team at Coles Group. As a key member of our Network Services business unit, you will play a critical role in building and configuring our Coles Network, ensuring seamless connectivity and optimal performance across our WAN and network management and automation systems.
Key Responsibilities- Design and implement automated network processes using Python and other automation tools.
- Deploy and maintain network management and observability tools, such as DNAC and Statseeker.
- Provide expert technical direction and support for network incidents and outages.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and implement IT solutions across Network and related technologies.
- Develop and maintain detailed diagrams for existing and new technologies, and engage with network architects and designers.
- Ensure compliance with company values, policies, and procedures, as well as all applicable external laws and regulations.
We are looking for a highly experienced Network Automation Engineer with a strong background in Cisco Routing and Switching, Python programming, and software testing. You should have a deep understanding of network automation technologies and methodologies, as well as experience with vendor management and security principles.
Requirements- CCNP or equivalent certification in Cisco networking.
- High-level experience in Python programming for network automation.
- Experience in software testing and Cisco software life management.
- Knowledge of DNA-C, Prime, Statseeker, and other monitoring and network management tools.
- Knowledge of emerging technologies, such as SD-WAN and SD-Access.
