Heavy Duty Diesel Mechanic Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Heavy Duty Diesel Mechanic to join our team at BTP in Hazelmere. As a key member of our workshop, you will be responsible for performing machine rebuilds, repairs, and scheduled maintenance on a variety of surface mining equipment.

About the Role
  • Australian Recognized Trade Certificate in Mechanical Heavy Duty
  • Valid High-Risk Work Licence, Forklift, and Dogging
  • Experience working on CAT, Komatsu, or Hitachi mining equipment
  • Valid Australian Drivers Licence
  • Ability to meet all requirements including Pass a Pre-Employment medical

  • Component Change outs
Requirements
  • Strong knowledge of Hydraulic, pneumatic, and drivetrain systems
  • Passionate about quality of work ensuring functionality and reliability exceeds customer expectations
  • Knowledge and application of Occupational Health and Safety in the workplace
