As a highly organized and detail-oriented individual, you will be responsible for ensuring the success of these events and the satisfaction of our guests.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Organize and control the day-to-day operation of function facilities
  • Assist with performance evaluations for all staff
  • Assist in rostering staff to meet function needs while managing labor costs
  • Assist with forecasting and preparation of accounts
  • Maintain constant and updated communications with relevant departments
  • Provide smooth, efficient, and courteous service to guests during functions
  • Ensure that function rooms are set up as per function sheets
  • Liaise closely with kitchen managers regarding activities of the day

Qualifications:

  • Minimum 2 years supervisory or assistant manager experience in a similar hospitality environment or role
  • Australian Full Working Rights
  • Outstanding customer service skills and passion for hospitality
  • Lead by example and prioritize team development and training
  • RSA Certificate (Responsible Service of Alcohol) is essential
