Warehouse Operations Specialist

We are seeking an experienced Forklift Operator to join our packaging and warehouse team in Huntingwood, New South Wales. The successful candidate will be responsible for operating forklifts and material handling equipment safely and efficiently.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Operate forklifts and material handling equipment to transport pallets of packaged alcohol to storage areas, production lines, and shipping docks.
  • Load and unload trucks, ensuring careful handling of products.
  • Stack and organize pallets in designated storage areas, adhering to inventory management procedures.
  • Assist with inventory counts and cycle counts, ensuring accurate record-keeping.
  • Pick and pack individual cases or bottles using an RF scanner.
  • Report and escalate any issues with machines or conveyors to the line leader.
Requirements:
  • Proven experience as a forklift operator.
  • Valid forklift licence.
  • Strong understanding of safety protocols.
  • Ability to lift and move heavy objects safely.
Working Conditions:
  • Ability to stand, walk, and lift heavy objects for extended periods.
  • Comfortable working in a warehouse environment with varying temperatures and noise levels.
  • Capable of safely operating a forklift and performing tasks involving bending and reaching.
