Production Operator/Quality Assurance Specialist

Job Summary

Champ Group is seeking an experienced and enthusiastic Production Operator/Quality Assurance Officer to join our team on a permanent full-time basis.

About the Role

This position will be based in a manufacturing environment, working Monday to Friday 6:00am – 2:30pm + Regular Overtime. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring all products manufactured comply with the Australian Standards.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate all quality-related aspects of the production process
  • Provide information to the company's ISO QA system in accordance with ISO accreditation
  • Compile QA and QC data using document control principles
  • Investigate the root cause of product rejects
  • Assist with internal and external periodic audits
  • Complete daily quality inspections of products
  • Ensure the correct identification of all products
  • Assist with the training and onboarding of new employees

Requirements:

  • Prior QA experience in a manufacturing business
  • An understanding of the Australian Standards
  • Excellent attention to detail and a high level of accuracy
  • Able to pass a pre-employment medical + drug & alcohol
