Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled Refrigeration Engineer to join our team at Dalkia UK. As a key member of our maintenance team, you will be responsible for the operation, maintenance, and ongoing compliance of all electrical and mechanical systems at our client EDF's showcase residential training and conference centre, Cannington Court.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Carry out scheduled maintenance tasks, repairs, and operations of equipment and services in accordance with best practice.
  2. Ensure that all third-party contractors work safely and professionally on site, adhering to company or site-specific procedures.
  3. Review Risk Assessments/Method Statements for work being carried out.
  4. Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities and repairs.
  5. Ensure compliance with safety regulations and company policies.
  6. Ensure the operation of the centre is compliant at all times.

Requirements:

  1. Good all-round maintenance engineer with strong electrical knowledge.
  2. C&G Level 3 Electrical Installations or recognised equivalent.
  3. Health and Safety Training including knowledge of Risk Assessments and Method Statements.
  4. GCSE (or 'O' Level equivalent) passes in Maths and English or recognised equivalent.
  5. Experience with similar maintenance duties including fault diagnosis and rectification.
  6. Experience in the Electrical aspects of general building PPM schedules. Experienced in Electrical Installation work, plus electrical testing and inspection.
  7. A good understanding of Building Critical and Non-Critical Systems.
  8. Knowledge in CAFM PPM Management System (Concept) via handheld PDA.

Desirable:

  1. C&G Electrical Inspection and Testing (or equivalent).
  2. 18th Edition IEE Electrical Regulations.
  3. BMS (Building Management System) knowledge and understanding.
  4. A good basic Mechanical understanding.
  5. Understanding of COSHH and handling of substances.
