We are seeking a passionate educator to lead a composite class in Year 3-6 at a small, welcoming primary school located in the heart of Tropical North Queensland. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys teaching in a supportive and close-knit community with strong parent and local support.
As a teacher in this role, you will have the chance to foster learning in a beautiful tropical location near Mission Beach and the Cassowary Coast. You will lead a small multi-age class with opportunities for personalised teaching and strong student connections.
Key Responsibilities:
- To teach a composite class of students in Years 3-6
- To develop and implement engaging lesson plans that cater to diverse learning needs
- To maintain a safe and inclusive learning environment that promotes social and emotional well-being
Requirements:
- A relevant teaching qualification
- Full or provisional registration with the relevant state or territory education authority
- Australian working rights or a valid visa
