Pharmacy Technician Role

We are seeking a highly skilled pharmacy technician to join our team at Adeney Private Hospital in Kew, Melbourne.

This is an exceptional opportunity for an individual to be part of a new service startup and deliver outstanding care to patients. You will work as part of a small team providing services to four theatres, one ward, and a day oncology unit.

Your key responsibilities will include receiving, dispensing, and supplying medications for hospital inpatients and outpatients, processing and maintaining imprest levels, managing hospital ward stock, reconciling and managing prescriptions and patient medication discharge profiles, supporting patients, carers, and hospital staff, processing PBS claims, and assisting in producing medication profiles to hospital patients on discharge.

Adeney Private Hospital is a private healthcare facility focused on delivering personalized and affordable medical services. It provides short-stay care and delivers prehab and rehab services outside the hospital, ensuring continuity for patients when they are discharged.
