Maintenance and Technical Expertise

Job Description:

A Maintenance Technician is required to perform maintenance and repair tasks to ensure facilities are clean, safe, and in good working order.

The ideal candidate will have general handyman skills, a trade qualification, and experience in a large-scale hotel Engineering department. A degree in electrical or mechanical engineering is highly desirable.

Responsibilities Include:

  • Responding to guest requests for repairs and maintaining communication with guests to resolve issues
  • Performing preventive maintenance on tools and equipment, including cleaning and lubrication
  • Identifying and resolving maintenance issues, including plumbing, electrical, and mechanical problems
  • Maintaining inventory and requisitioning parts and supplies as needed

Additional Skills and Experience:

  • Organized with strong planning, communication, and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work under pressure with a 'Can Do' attitude and high energy
