Job Summary

Boeing Defence Australia is seeking an experienced Aviation Maintenance Professional to support the maintenance of the Boeing AH-64 Apache avionics and electrical systems and associated equipment. As an Aircraft Maintenance Engineer - Avionics, you will play a vital role in ensuring the airworthiness of the aircraft and providing exceptional maintenance services to our Australian Defence Force customer.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct maintenance, modification, servicing, inspection, testing, and troubleshooting of aircraft systems, associated components, and equipment.
  • Apply trade qualifications and experience in the relevant trade category to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Supervise other Aircraft Maintenance Engineers and provide mentorship to subordinate technicians.
  • Collaborate with the Maintenance Repair and Overhaul (MRO) Services team to ensure seamless maintenance operations.
Requirements
  • Certificate IV in Aeroskills (Avionics)
  • DASR Part 66 Military Aircraft Maintenance Licence (MAML) - Category B2
  • Previous experience as a maintenance certifier/trade supervisor
  • High level of verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to successfully interact with co-workers and maintain productive working relationships
  • Good knowledge of Environmental, Health and Safety procedures
  • Working knowledge of computer-based maintenance management systems
  • Able to obtain and maintain a Defence security clearance of NV1
