Precision Jobs is seeking a highly skilled and experienced HSEQ Manager to join our team. As a state leader in safety and compliance management, you will be responsible for championing our HSEQ Take 5 program and developing and implementing health and safety policies, procedures, and training programs to promote a safe work environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Champion the HSEQ Take 5 program and ensure its successful implementation across our operations.
- Develop and implement health and safety policies, procedures, and training programs to promote a safe work environment.
- Conduct regular inspections and audits to identify hazards, assess risks, and implement controls to mitigate potential risks.
- Investigate accidents, incidents, and near misses to assess cause and implement corrective and preventative actions.
- Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal regulations.
- Maintain accurate records, documentation, and reporting related to HSEQ activities.
- Manage and control workers' compensation claims.
- Develop and implement return to work programs.
Requirements:
- Most likely tertiary or post-secondary qualified in OH&S.
- Successful operational safety and compliance management background, preferably in the transport and 3PL industry in Australia.
- High-level communication, leadership, relationship management, planning skills, and technical knowledge.
