Job Details: Senior Acoustic Consultant

About the Role:

We are seeking a skilled Senior Acoustic Consultant to join our high-performing team. As an experienced expert in acoustics, you will be responsible for delivering high-profile projects across APAC.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Carry out technical tasks requiring accuracy in calculations, data analysis, modelling and design, including manipulating and managing large data sets.
  • Work on a wide range of projects, with opportunities in environmental noise monitoring, building acoustics, 3D computer noise modelling, numerical analysis of results and associated reporting.
  • Mentor and guide junior level staff.
  • Develop business development skills to contribute to the breadth and range of projects the team works on, with support from senior team members as needed.

Requirements:

  • A relevant bachelor degree, ideally in mechanical or electrical engineering, environmental engineering or science.
  • Ideal experience of 4-8+ years within a consulting environment.
  • Capability and experience with coding, GIS, noise monitoring and prediction would be favourable.
  • Experience and high competency with noise monitoring equipment and/or 3D computer noise models (SoundPLAN, CadnaA etc.) is essential.
  • The ability to be self-sufficient and build on your business development skill set.
  • A proven record of high-level project delivery will be advantageous.
