- Contribute to clinical documentation enhancement projects.
- Participate in necessary audits to ensure compliance and quality.
- Share coding expertise with fellow clinical coders within the organization.
Essential Qualifications:
- Eligibility to work in Australia.
- Certification in Clinical Coding from HIMAA or equivalent, with a minimum of 3 years' experience in ICD-10-AM, ACHI, and ACS.
- Proven experience in clinical coding across various DRGs, demonstrating high-quality coding skills.
- Current knowledge of Clinical Coding guidelines and Australian Coding Standards.
- Comprehensive understanding of Diagnosis Related Groups (AR-DRG).
- Familiarity with 3M Codefinder, TurboCoder, and PICQ.
- Strong organizational abilities for planning, prioritizing, and managing workloads effectively.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Capability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team environment.
