About the RoleYour primary responsibility will be to respond to reports of safety concerns surrounding children or young people who may have been harmed. This involves working sensitively and respectfully with parents, family members, children, or young people, as well as collaborating with other agencies and engaging in complex problem-solving.
- You will work closely with families to understand their needs and develop strategies to address safety and well-being concerns.
- You will conduct home visits, gather information, and assess risks to ensure the safety of children and young people.
- You will participate in court processes, including the preparation of court documents and attending court.
A valid driver's license and a paid working with children clearance number are essential requirements for this role.
