Salary and Benefits

The successful candidate can expect an annual salary of approximately $180,000 AUD, reflecting the importance of this leadership role. Key Responsibilities
  • Lead the Procurement function, ensuring compliance with VGPB supply policies and delivering an effective, efficient, and value-add procurement function.
  • Own procurement policies, processes, and assurance controls to ensure a consistent and standardised approach for all procurement activities.
  • Provide expert advice to key stakeholders on all aspects of procurement, encouraging innovative practices and supporting delivery of business and policy directions.
  • Establish and manage relationships with key stakeholders to provide strategic insights on business needs, resolve complex issues, and deliver high performance on cost, service, and quality outcomes.
  • Oversee the management of identified critical commercial, contractual, operational, financial, reputational, ethical, and supply chain risks to minimise negative impacts on organisational objectives while encouraging opportunity and innovation.
  • Prepare annual reports in relation to procurement functions, ensuring transparency and accountability.
Requirements
  • Ten plus (10+) years of professional industry experience required, with postgraduate tertiary qualifications highly desirable.
  • Membership in a professional accredited organisation in Chartered Institute of Procurement and Supply (CIPS) is highly desirable.
