Job Title: Legal Operations Specialist

The role of a Legal Operations Specialist is to provide comprehensive support to the General Manager of Legal Operations in a collaborative work environment. This position involves working closely with the General Manager across all facets of the business, including drafting legal agreements, managing legal documentation, and conducting research as needed.

This role requires the candidate to become an expert in LawVu, our matter and contract management system. Additional duties involve assisting with presentations, budget management, and performing general administrative tasks.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Draft standard legal agreements such as NDA's, rebate, and other commercial agreements
  • Conduct legal/regulatory research as and when necessary
  • Become the internal subject matter expert for LawVu
  • Assist with preparation of presentations and management of the L&G team budget
  • General admin tasks such as diary management, arranging meetings, amendment of documents and contracts, drafting emails etc.
Requirements:

To be successful in this role, you will require 4+ years of experience as a Paralegal or experienced Legal secretary. You should have expertise in setting up and maintaining systems for organizing information and documents. Additionally, you should be able to compile reports, provide guidance on administrative software, and demonstrate ability to manage and perform administrative tasks that support individuals, teams, and organizational objectives.
