About the Role

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Nursing Assistant to join our team at Workforce Australia for Individuals. As a Nursing Assistant, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality care and support to our clients in the aged care sector.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide personal care and support to clients, including assistance with daily living activities, mobility, and hygiene
  • Assist with medication administration and management
  • Contribute to a positive and respectful environment, promoting the dignity and well-being of clients
  • Collaborate with the care team to develop and implement individualized care plans
  • Communicate effectively with clients, families, and healthcare professionals
Requirements
  • Certificate 3 or 4 in Aged Care Work, Community Care Services, Individual Support, or another recognized aged care qualification
  • Medication Training Certified
  • Minimum of 6 months experience in the aged care sector
  • Australian work rights
  • National Police Clearance and current Statutory Declaration (or willing to obtain)
  • NDIS highly regarded
  • Current Flu vaccination and three Covid-19 vaccinations
  • Willingness to travel to different locations
