Health Lawyer Role

This is an exceptional opportunity for a mid-level health lawyer to take on a challenging and diverse range of matters in a leading Australian health law practice.

You will collaborate with experienced lawyers on complex cases, including professional negligence claims, regulatory investigations and advocacy in coronial inquests.

The team provides expert advice to major insurers and healthcare professionals, covering claims across the healthcare and allied health sectors.

Key Responsibilities
  • Act as counsel for major insurers and healthcare professionals in the healthcare and allied health sectors.
  • Work on complex matters, including professional negligence claims, regulatory investigations and coronial inquests.
  • Prioritize detailed defences in medical negligence claims, provide guidance on clinical governance issues and represent the firm at inquests when required.
