Job Description

Our client, a growing manufacturing and distribution business in the West Midlands, is seeking an experienced Business Central Developer to take ownership of their system's ongoing development and embed it fully across operations.

This is a pivotal ERP implementation opportunity for someone who can lead the way and become the Business Central expert in a company undergoing digital change.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the ongoing development and optimisation of Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central (v26.2, cloud)
  • Align system design with operational needs across finance, sales, and manufacturing
  • Resolve system fit issues and accelerate project completion
  • Develop Power BI dashboards and build visual reporting tools
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure smooth integration and user adoption
  • Act as the internal go-to expert for Business Central
Required Skills and Qualifications

Our ideal candidate will have at least two years' experience developing in Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central (cloud version), strong skills in Power BI reporting and dashboard creation, and a background in manufacturing or distribution environments.

They will be confident working directly with stakeholders to align technology with business processes, self-sufficient, proactive, and comfortable being the first BC hire in the business.

Excellent communication and problem-solving skills are essential, along with the ability to influence future AI and reporting initiatives.
