Laverton, Vic-based William Adams is currently seeking a highly skilled Heavy Duty Truck Mechanic to join their team at the Truck Bay workshop.

The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of all types of On Highway Truck engines, maintaining a safe working environment, and delivering exceptional customer satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Troubleshoot and repair complex On Highway Truck engine issues
  • Comply with Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs)
  • Prepare detailed service reports for each job
  • Maintain a clean and safe work area
  • Provide guidance and support to Trade Assistants and Apprentices

About You:

To be considered for this role, you must have:

  • Proven experience in repairing, rebuilding, and refurbishing Cat engines
  • A strong commitment to safety, health, and environmental sustainability
  • Familiarity with Caterpillar computer diagnostics
  • A current heavy vehicle license (desirable)
