About the Role:
The Marketing Executive will play a key role in the effective execution of marketing activities and campaigns to deliver marketing objectives for the centre and drive the best customer experience for the centre's trade area.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement marketing strategies and tactics to achieve centre marketing objectives.
- Collaborate with the Regional Brand and Marketing Manager to develop and execute marketing plans aligned with the asset segment marketing strategy and the Vision Strategy and Action Plan (VSA's) for the asset.
- Plan and project manage all events, campaigns, and activations, including social and digital activity, monitoring, and reporting.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with retail partners, including regular communication and reporting.
- Ensure compliance with legal and regulatory requirements, including briefing of terms and conditions and escalating compliance and governance requirements to the necessary teams.
- Manage centre operational support, including centre walks, duty management, customer service desk assistance, hoarding management, PA announcements, visual merchandising, new store support, warden training, and maintaining the marketing storeroom.
- Prepare reports and attend centre, regional, and JV meetings, and perform administrative and reporting duties.
Requirements:
- Proven experience in marketing, with a focus on retail and/or shopping centre marketing.
- Strong understanding of the local competitive landscape and key customer insights.
- Event planning, implementation, and management skills.
- Campaign development, briefing, planning, and execution capability.
- Copywriting, proofreading, and editing skills.
- Strong organisational, project management, and time management skills.
- Budget management principles.
- Content production experience.
- Interpersonal and strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Customer service skills.
- Financial acumen and proven performance to drive value and commercial results.
- Ability to work as part of a team and develop/maintain strategic relationships.
- Marketing legal, risk, and compliance knowledge.
