Telecoms Infrastructure Engineer Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled Telecoms Infrastructure Engineer to join our team. This is an exciting opportunity for a talented individual to work on the delivery of telecommunications infrastructure packages.

The successful candidate will have a strong understanding of telecommunications systems, including radio sites, power systems, and associated infrastructure. They will also have experience with design, construct, and integration of these systems.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage the end-to-end delivery of telecommunications infrastructure packages.
  • Prepare engineering design documents, specifications, drawings, and scopes of work on time and within budget to meet project deadlines.
  • Understand the process relating to site design and site acquisition and relevance of Safety in Design.
  • Lead and participate in the infrastructure design review process.
  • Review design drawings and produce scope of work documents and BOM's.
  • Identify defects and coordinate rectifications as per agreed timelines.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • A minimum of 10+ years' experience as a deployment/project engineer on large-scale Australian rail projects.
  • An engineering degree enabling full membership to Engineers Australia.
  • Demonstrated experience with design, construct, and integration of Telecommunications systems.
  • Proven subcontractor management experience.
  • Well-developed organisational skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and meet strict deadlines.
  • Collaborative communication style with the ability to work effectively as a member of a team.
