Job Title: Perioperative Nurse

Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Perioperative Nurse to join our team at Ellie Mental Health - 077. As a Perioperative Nurse, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care in a dynamic and fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Maintain a high level of nursing care to all patients within the perioperative unit
• Monitor the condition of patients during procedures and report changes to relevant manager and healthcare team
• Commit to relevant and continued professional education
• Exhibit punctuality, reliability, and a proactive approach
• Current Registration with AHPRA as a Registered Nurse
• Minimum 2 years relevant nursing experience in an acute setting (including surgical) / perioperative environment
• Recent ophthalmology experience (1 year minimum) desirable
• Any post graduate perioperative qualifications will be well regarded
• Excellent understanding of infection prevention and control principles
• Exceptional customer service and interpersonal skills
• Willingness to work in a cohesive and caring team
• Flexibility to work Monday to Friday mornings or evenings with possible weekends
