About the Role

We are seeking a motivated and enthusiastic Lifestyle Assistant to join our team at RSL LifeCare's Phyllis Stewart House, a 54-bed Residential Aged Care home. As a Lifestyle Assistant, you will play a vital role in planning, implementing, and evaluating activities and lifestyle programs that enhance the lives of our residents.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and deliver engaging activities and programs that cater to the diverse needs and interests of our residents
  • Collaborate with the care team to ensure seamless integration of lifestyle programs with care plans
  • Conduct regular assessments to identify resident preferences and develop programs that meet their needs
  • Manage and maintain a safe and inclusive environment for residents to participate in activities
  • Provide exceptional customer service and maintain positive relationships with residents, families, and staff
Requirements
  • Relevant qualifications in Leisure and Health or a related field
  • Experience working in aged care or a related field
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Basic computer skills and proficiency in software applications
