Job Title: Assistant Childcare Educator

We are seeking a passionate and experienced individual to join our team as an Assistant Childcare Educator.

About the Role:

This is an exciting opportunity to work with children in a safe learning environment at Before and After School Care. As a hands-on, outgoing and passionate Educator, you will form strong relationships with the children, families, principal, school leaders and the wider community.

You will assist in delivering the daily program, exciting activities, playing with the children, taking children outside for outdoor experiences and assist in serving a healthy range of snacks. As an essential member of the team, you will follow a schedule of activities as well as contribute your own ideas for exciting and engaging activities which are safe, fun, stimulating and carry educational value.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver high-quality childcare services to children aged 0-12 years.
  • Develop and implement engaging programs that promote children's learning and development.
  • Maintain a safe and inclusive learning environment.
  • Build strong relationships with children, families and colleagues.

Requirements:

  • Certificate III or higher in Children's Services (or studying towards) or equivalent.
  • Current Employee Working with Children's Check.
  • HLTAID012 or higher First Aid, Anaphylaxis & Asthma Management Training.
