Heavy Infrastructure Labourer

As a civil labourer, you will be responsible for assisting in the construction of various infrastructure projects, including roads, car parks, and subdivisions. Your primary duties will include performing manual physical labour, operating machinery, and ensuring safety protocols are followed.
Specifically, your tasks may include:
- Concreting and using power tools such as jack hammers and grinders
- Grade checking using lasers and stringlines
- Spotting trucks and working safely around plant machinery
- Operating padfoot rollers to fill out gullies and perform other tasks
In addition, you may be required to work in a team environment, communicate effectively with colleagues, and adapt to changing project requirements.
Required Skills and Qualifications:To be successful in this role, you will need to possess the following skills and qualifications:
- A valid Construction Safety Card
- Relevant ticket for roller operations
- A current driver's license
- Reliable transportation
- Past proven experience in a similar role
This position offers competitive hourly rates, with $31.58 per hour for civil labourers and $33.06 per hour for roller operators. Additionally, you will receive overtime rates and daily travel allowances.
