We're looking for a skilled professional to join our team as a Career Development Specialist. This role involves working closely with clients to explore their career goals and aspirations, building confidence, and supporting them into meaningful employment.
You'll take the time to understand each client's strengths and needs, offering tailored support and developing individualized employment plans. Your strong communication and problem-solving skills will help you connect with clients and employers alike, while your knowledge of inclusive employment practices will enable you to make a lasting impact.

Key Responsibilities:
- Source and create career opportunities, matching clients to suitable and sustainable roles.
- Champion inclusive employment and workforce diversity, focusing on people with disability, injury or health condition.
- Engage and work alongside employers to address skill shortages through role carving and inclusive recruitment.
- Broker work experience to build participant skills and assess employer/client compatibility.
- Prepare workplaces to support and retain participants via adjustments and disability confidence training.
- Facilitate employer training to boost disability awareness and inclusion.
- Build employer and community networks to create job opportunities.
- Promote our organization as a trusted provider supporting people with disability to achieve career goals.
- Meet or exceed internal and external performance benchmarks.
- Champion our values of inclusion, empowerment, and person-centred practice.
You bring a unique blend of skills and passion to this role. With experience in employment services, you're confident in supporting people, building trust, and guiding them into meaningful careers. You're highly organized, outcomes-focused, and thrive in a fast-paced, people-first environment.
You have a strong understanding of employment barriers faced by people with disability, injury, or health conditions, and are skilled in providing tailored support and developing client-focused employment plans. Your excellent communication, problem-solving, and stakeholder engagement skills will enable you to connect with clients and employers alike, making a real impact in their lives.
