The Role: Chinese Language Educator

This is an excellent opportunity for a skilled educator to inspire students to develop their skills in Mandarin and foster an appreciation of Chinese culture.

You will demonstrate the following skills and attributes:

  • Hold current accreditation with NESA and possess an excellent understanding of the NESA syllabus
  • Have the ability to teach stage 4 - Year 7 & 8 Chinese course
  • Confidence in delivering lessons up to stage 6
  • Be a positive and collaborative contributor to a successful department focused on improving educational outcomes
  • Be confident in differentiating the curriculum in the classroom
  • Have a strong understanding of technology application to enhance learning
  • Be a reflective professional engaged in ongoing development and research related to your practice
  • Be committed to supporting student wellbeing

Benefits Package

We offer competitive salaries, ranging from $102,000 - $140,000 per annum (plus superannuation). Additional allowances are paid for coordinator and leadership roles. Your salary will be based on your NESA accreditation level.
