Quality Assurance Manager

We are seeking a highly experienced Quality Assurance Manager to join our team at Design & Build Recruitment. As a key member of our organization, you will be responsible for developing and maintaining Quality Management Systems (QMS) to ensure that our projects meet the highest standards of quality, safety, and compliance.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Develop and maintain effective Quality Management Systems (QMS) to ensure ongoing compliance with ISO 9001 and other relevant industry standards.
  2. Lead the implementation of quality control plans, performing inspections and audits across multiple project sites to ensure the highest quality work.
  3. Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and subcontractors to ensure quality expectations are met throughout project lifecycles.
  4. Conduct regular internal and external audits, identifying areas for improvement and developing action plans to resolve non-conformances.
  5. Drive continuous improvement by reviewing existing processes and suggesting innovations to improve efficiency and quality across the organization.
  6. Manage corrective and preventive action processes to address quality issues, ensuring timely resolutions.
  7. Oversee documentation and reporting, ensuring all quality records are maintained and up-to-date.

Requirements:

  1. Proven experience as a Quality Manager in the construction industry, ideally on commercial or residential projects.
  2. Expertise in ISO 9001 Quality Management Systems, and the ability to develop and maintain these systems.
  3. Strong leadership skills with the ability to influence and manage cross-functional teams.
  4. Extensive knowledge of quality assurance and control processes, with experience conducting audits and implementing corrective actions.
  5. Tertiary qualifications in construction management, engineering, or a related discipline are highly regarded.
  6. Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to present reports and liaise with stakeholders at all levels.
