About the Role

We are seeking an experienced primary tutor to join our team at the Kip McGrath Education Centre in Springfield, QLD. As a primary tutor, you will be responsible for teaching students using our proven methodologies and individually tailored learning programs.

Key Responsibilities
  • Teach students in a small group setting, promoting their confidence and meeting their goals.
  • Tutor students in a positive and caring manner, fostering self-esteem and self-worth.
  • Quickly learn and use our state-of-the-art software to plan and conduct face-to-face lessons, saving time on preparation.
  • Be available to commit to every class scheduled, ensuring consistency and reliability.
  • Develop and maintain a positive relationship with students and parents, using strong rapport-building skills.
  • Keep accurate records of student progress and goals online, providing regular feedback to parents.
  • Work up to 2-3 sessions a day, Monday to Saturday, in a dynamic and supportive environment.
Requirements
  • A teaching degree or in the final year of your degree.
  • A current Working with Children Check.
  • A friendly, professional, and personable manner.
  • Proven ability to work well in a team environment and independently.
  • Demonstrate a positive and vibrant personality.
  • Confidence using software and computers.
  • A genuine love for learning and teaching.
  • Reliable, high attention to detail, and strong organisational skills.
  • Ability and willingness to teach both face-to-face in our Springfield Centre and online, as required by management.
