Teacher of Personal Development and Health

This is an exciting opportunity to take on a challenging and rewarding role as a Teacher of Personal Development and Health. The ideal candidate will be a passionate educator who can design and implement engaging and inclusive learning programs that cater to the diverse needs of students.

The successful applicant will have a strong knowledge of current curriculum, assessment, and reporting requirements, as well as experience in building positive relationships with students, staff, and the wider community. They will also be able to contribute effectively to a collaborative and supportive faculty culture.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Design and implement differentiated, evidence-based teaching and learning programs that maximise student engagement, growth, and achievement across a diverse range of learners.
  • Contribute to the delivery of school sport and lead or support extra-curricular initiatives that promote student wellbeing, participation, and connection to the school community.
  • Build positive relationships with students, staff, parents, and the wider community, and contribute effectively to a collaborative and supportive faculty culture.
Requirements:
  • Approval to teach Personal Development, Health and Physical Education (PDHPE) with a strong knowledge of current curriculum, assessment, and reporting requirements.
  • Unconditional full approval to teach is a requirement. If you do not hold a full approval to teach, you must commence the application process at the same time as you apply for this teaching opportunity.
