Electrical Engineering Internship

We are seeking a motivated Electrical Engineering Intern to join our team in Nerang. As an intern, you will gain hands-on experience in the management and maintenance of electrical assets while building practical skills that support your engineering studies.

About the Role

This is an excellent opportunity for students to apply their knowledge in a real-world setting. You will work under the guidance of senior engineers and contribute to projects that improve safety and efficiency on Queensland's road network.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist with the design, planning, and delivery of electrical and infrastructure projects.
  • Support asset data management, maintenance planning, and commissioning of new assets.
  • Provide technical input on electrical engineering aspects of ITS, traffic signals, road lighting, and related systems.
  • Contribute to multi-disciplinary project teams and help deliver projects on time, on budget, and to quality standards.
  • Prepare technical reports and provide clear advice to stakeholders.
Requirements
  • Currently enrolled in a Bachelor of Engineering (Electrical) or dual-degree equivalent.
  • Interest in applying engineering theory to practical projects in a dynamic environment.
  • Able to communicate effectively, both written and verbally, and work well in a team setting.
  • Eager to develop technical knowledge and contribute to projects that improve safety and efficiency.
