Job Description

Synaco Global Recruitment is partnering with a leading global company in secure payment and connectivity technologies.

We are seeking experienced packers to join their team in a manufacturing environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Operate mail processing equipment to ensure efficient mail sorting and processing.
  • Perform manual handling tasks, such as lifting and moving packages, to maintain a smooth workflow.
  • Maintain high standards of general housekeeping and cleanliness in the workplace.
  • Conduct routine maintenance on mail processing equipment to prevent breakdowns and ensure optimal performance.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve common equipment issues to minimize downtime and optimize productivity.
  • Adhere to established safety protocols and procedures to ensure a safe working environment for all employees.

Requirements

  • Proven experience in a manufacturing environment, with a strong understanding of mail processing equipment and procedures.
  • Experience in the mailing industry is highly advantageous, but not essential.
  • Ability to perform manual handling tasks, including lifting and moving packages, safely and efficiently.
  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to work effectively with colleagues and management.
  • Strong numerical skills, with the ability to accurately record and report data.
  • Own transport is essential, as you will need to commute to work.
  • Punctuality and reliability are essential, as you will be working in a fast-paced environment with tight deadlines.

Additional Information

  • This is a temp-to-perm opportunity, with the potential to become a permanent member of the team.
  • The working hours are 7 AM morning shifts, Monday to Friday.
  • The job is located in Smithfield, with easy access to public transportation.
