Role SummaryThis full-time position is for a junior/intermediate auditor within the assurance division. As an auditor, you will be responsible for conducting audits, performing financial analysis, ensuring regulatory compliance, and preparing audit reports. The role requires strong attention to detail, analytical skills, and the ability to work both independently and in a team.
Key Responsibilities- Collaborate closely with partners across a diverse client base to deliver high-quality audit services.
- Manage the full cycle of audit planning, execution, and assignments, including supervising and guiding junior staff.
- Conduct risk assessments, testing, reporting, and control evaluations, as well as develop test plans and reports.
- Oversee audit fieldwork and ensure timely completion of audits within budget constraints.
- Mentor junior team members and assist with special assignments and reports in collaboration with directors and partners.
- Minimum of 2 years of audit experience in an accounting firm.
- Accounting degree with plans to commence or currently enrolled in the CA program.
- Excellent communication skills with a focus on building lasting client relationships and the ability to work autonomously.
- Proficiency in Excel and familiarity with CaseWare, Accurri, or similar audit software.
- High attention to detail and the ability to prioritize workload.
- Solid understanding of Australian Accounting Standards and Australian Standards of Auditing.
