About the Role

This role is situated on a Surgical Ward at a Private Hospital, encompassing Orthopaedic, ENT and Day Ward areas.

The position involves working under the supervision of a Registered Nurse and entails providing safe, effective and appropriate patient care within a patient-focused environment. The role reports to a Nurse Unit Manager who oversees a team of dedicated staff fostering safe clinical practice.

Your Key Responsibilities
  • Contribute to delivering a patient-centred model of care in a secure environment.
  • Execute functions of an Enrolled Nurse Medication Endorsed within the scope of practice.
  • Demonstrate proficient and safe administration of medications, including nursing duties.
The Ideal Candidate
  • AHPRA Registration with a current practising certificate
  • Recent experience in acute care and/or hospital settings
  • Ability to work efficiently during periods of high demand
  • Capacity to collaborate effectively as a member of a multidisciplinary team
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal skills and customer service skills
  • Commitment to joining a team dedicated to patient care with a positive attitude in a mission-driven organisation
