Salary Range: AU$120,000 - AU$180,000 per year



Job Description:


We are seeking an experienced Software Developer to join our team of talented professionals who are passionate about developing mission-critical systems. As a Software Developer, you will be responsible for designing, developing, testing, and deploying software applications using a variety of programming languages and technologies.



Key Responsibilities:



  • Develop high-quality software applications using Java, JavaScript, and other relevant technologies
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and prioritize project requirements
  • Design and implement software solutions that meet or exceed customer expectations
  • Contribute to the development and maintenance of software engineering processes and standards
  • Participate in code reviews and provide constructive feedback to peers
  • Support the integration of external systems and applications using REST APIs, JSON/XML, and other protocols
  • Work effectively in an Agile environment, following Scrum methodologies and best practices


Required Skills and Qualifications:



  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field (or equivalent experience)
  • Minimum 2+ years of experience in software development, with a strong focus on Java and JavaScript
  • Experience with Agile development methodologies, including Scrum and Kanban
  • Knowledge of CI/CD tools, infrastructure as code, and containerization using Docker and Kubernetes
  • Strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to articulate technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders

Additional Information:


As a successful candidate, you will be required to undergo a national police clearance and obtain a Top Secret Personnel Vetting (TSPV) security clearance. You must also be an Australian citizen.
