Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled Accounts Receivable Specialist to join our team. As an Accounts Receivable Specialist, you will be responsible for managing the credit claims and debtors ledger.
About the Role
The successful candidate will report to the Credit & Claims Manager and be responsible for:
- Allocating payments and conducting bank and debtor reconciliations
- Assisting with the opening of new accounts and collection calls
- Managing incoming claims and queries via email and phone
- Assessing, logging, and allocating claims to relevant departments
- Investigating claims and reconciling customer accounts
- Raising claims to relevant accounts and making adjustments
- Performing general administrative tasks
About You
To be successful in this role, you will ideally have:
- Previous experience in a similar position - Credit Control/Accounts Receivable with Claims experience
- Previous exposure within an FMCG industry
- A strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Excellent customer service skills and ability to liaise with internal and external stakeholders
- Proficiency with Excel and exposure to ERP systems
