QC Sample Management Specialist - Biopharmaceuticals

Job Description:

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Quality Control (QC) Sample Management Specialist to join our team in Melbourne. The successful candidate will be responsible for performing environmental monitoring, collecting and managing samples, and ensuring product quality and regulatory compliance.

Responsibilities:
  • Conduct viable and non-viable environmental monitoring (air, surfaces, cleanroom areas)
  • Collect and manage samples of water, pure steam, and compressed gases
  • Accurately log and submit samples using Laboratory Information Management System (LIMS)
  • Work within graded cleanroom environments (Grades A–D) following strict protocols
Requirements:
  • Recent graduate or early career scientist with a Bachelor of Science degree in Microbiology
  • Relevant working rights for a 12-month contract role
  • Comfortable working in Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP)-regulated environments
  • Clear written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to follow structured procedures and work as part of a team-based QC function
