Logistics Business Development

We are looking for a skilled professional to join our team as a Finance Business Partner. This role will be responsible for driving innovation in the logistics industry and delivering exceptional service to our customers.

  • Provide financial support and commercial guidance to the Transport Operations team, ensuring they have the necessary resources to achieve their goals.
  • Develop and implement strategies to improve financial performance, including budgeting, forecasting, and cost control.
  • Prepare and present financial reports to stakeholders, highlighting key trends and areas for improvement.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Business partnering with key stakeholders related to Air and Road transport, identifying opportunities for growth and improvement.
  • Presentation of financial results and business performance reports, using data visualization tools to convey complex information effectively.
  • Participate in the development of business performance targets and KPIs, working closely with the Transport Operations team to ensure alignment with company goals.
  • Conduct performance analysis across road and air linehaul operations, identifying areas for improvement and developing recommendations for improvement.
Requirements

A minimum of 5 years of experience in professional services and/or industry-related roles is required. The ideal candidate will possess strong business acumen, analytical, problem-solving, and data manipulation skills.

  • Demonstrated high-level financial, analytical, interpretive, and problem-solving skills, with the ability to communicate complex ideas effectively.
  • High-level PC skills (particularly Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint) and exposure to TM1 or other data analysis software.
