Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Clinical Consultant / Speech Pathologist to join our team at Workforce Australia For Individuals. This is a full-time position that requires a strong background in clinical consulting and speech pathology.

Key Responsibilities
  • Gather information using standardized assessments, interviews, observations, and play-based approaches.
  • Conduct assessments collaboratively with individuals, families, and key stakeholders.
  • Develop realistic, functional, and person-centered goals with individuals and key stakeholders in line with assessment findings and priorities.
  • Develop treatment and therapy plans to suit the individual needs of children, young people, and adults with a wide range of presentations.
  • Monitor and evaluate progress and outcomes, and amend plans accordingly.
  • Liaise, educate, support, and mentor parents and families, educators, staff, and other professionals involved in an individual's care.
  • Provide training in key areas such as communication, speech and language, mealtime management, augmentative and alternative communication strategies and devices, meaningful engagement, etc.
Requirements
  • Mid-Senior level experience in clinical consulting and speech pathology.
  • Strong background in standardized assessments, interviews, observations, and play-based approaches.
  • Ability to develop realistic, functional, and person-centered goals with individuals and key stakeholders.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with individuals, families, and key stakeholders.
