Job Description

We are seeking a skilled T Repair Electrician to join our team in Sydney CBD office. As a T Repair Electrician, you will work closely with other Service Technicians, Mechanical Fitters, Installers, Adjusters, Trade Assistants, Field Engineers, and Service Coordinators to install or modernize elevators and escalators.

You will be responsible for running electrical cables within the lift shaft, wiring a lift shaft and lift car, connecting motors and controllers, and roping the lift. You will also follow field installation manual instructions and communicate clearly with team members, managers, site managers, and other contractors.

Your duties will include complying with company Environmental Health and Safety policies and procedures, maintaining and adhering to the Quality System, identifying improvement opportunities, and ensuring work is performed according to relevant Codes.

Required Skills and Qualifications
  • Educational background in electrical or trade qualifications relevant to the role.
  • A minimum of two (2) to five (5) years' experience working on construction sites, preferably in the lift industry.
  • Extensive knowledge of electrical and mechanical systems across large equipment.
  • Demonstrated problem-solving skills to diagnose and repair issues with lifts.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills to work effectively in a team or autonomously.
