The business specializes in technically complex and challenging industrial concrete projects across various sectors, including mining, oil & gas, water, renewables, civil infrastructure, and defence.
About the Role:As a permanent Senior Project Engineer working a FIFO 2/1 roster ex Perth, you will oversee the technical execution of insitu and structural concrete scopes on minesites for process plants, mine camps, or NPI infrastructure such as footings and foundations, plinths, ring beams, etc. These scopes of concrete works will typically be valued up to $50m. You will lead and mentor teams of on-site engineers and staff, managing costs, budgets, forecasting, and subbies during the delivery stages.
Key Responsibilities:- Lead and mentor teams of on-site engineers and staff
- Manage costs, budgets, forecasting, and subbies during delivery stages
- Oversee technical execution of insitu and structural concrete scopes
- Work on large-scale insitu concrete projects
- Tertiary qualifications in Civil Engineering
- 6+ years' experience as Project Engineer/Senior Project Engineer on large insitu concrete scopes of work in Australia
- Exposure and experience working on a FIFO roster on concrete/structural projects on remote mining, oil & gas, water, renewables, defence, or civil infrastructure projects
- Excellent all-round communication and leadership skills to mentor and guide junior staff
- Existing rights to live and work in Australia
- Able to pass a pre-employment medical and DAS testing
- A highly experienced management team
