Community Support Worker Opportunity

Join a dynamic team dedicated to providing exceptional care and support in the community. Our clients rely on us to assist them in living independently at home for as long as possible.

This is an exciting role where you will be working closely with our clients, supporting them with daily tasks such as cleaning, laundry, and personal care. You will also be responsible for transporting clients to appointments and shopping, preparing meals, and providing social support or respite for family members/carers.

  • Supporting and connecting with clients to promote their well-being and independence.
  • Assisting clients with day-to-day tasks, including cleaning, washing, and other activities outlined in their care plan.
  • Transporting clients to appointments and shopping, promoting safe and reliable transportation.
  • Preparing meals and snacks that cater to clients' dietary needs and preferences.
  • Providing social support or respite for family members/carers, helping to alleviate their workload and stress.
Requirements:
  • A genuine passion for delivering high-quality care and support in the community.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, allowing you to effectively interact with clients, families, and colleagues.
  • Reliability and flexibility, enabling you to adapt to changing client needs and priorities.
  • A strong understanding of workplace health and safety principles and practices.
  • A Certificate 3 or 4 in Individual Support is highly regarded, but not essential.
  • An Australian driver's licence and access to a registered motor vehicle are essential.
