Are you looking for a challenging and rewarding role where you can make a real impact on marine biosecurity? We have an exciting opportunity for a Project Officer to join our team in Attwood, Victoria.

This is an ongoing position that offers flexibility and hybrid work arrangements. As a Project Officer, you will be working across government, industry, and the community to manage marine biosecurity risks. Your key responsibilities will include identifying, analysing, and applying the latest scientific knowledge to inform management decisions, as well as communicating complex information to stakeholders.

We are looking for someone with a tertiary qualification in marine biology, ecology, natural resource management, or a relevant scientific discipline. You will also need experience in conducting research projects in the fields of marine biology, ecology, or invasive species management. Additionally, you should have a broad understanding of stakeholder issues relevant to the marine environment.

The successful applicant will be required to undergo pre-employment screening, including a Declaration and Consent form and a National Police Check. Appointment to an ongoing position is only available to Australian/New Zealand citizens or Australian Permanent Residents.
