Senior Coastal Engineer Job Opportunity

This is a fantastic opportunity to join one of the most talented and respected engineering teams.

The Role

We are seeking an experienced Senior Coastal Engineer to join our National Maritime Team. You will be involved in design and planning activities for large scale multi-discipline maritime facilities for various industries including defence, local government, state government, ports, and sustainability (hydrogen terminals).

You will apply your existing experience across these different industries and gain exposure to new and interesting projects. You will be supported by and get to work with a range of other disciplines across our partners.

Key Responsibilities
  • Leverage your existing coastal engineering experience to deliver everything from concept designs through to construction phase support.
  • Apply your skills in providing guidance and mentoring to less experienced staff to enhance their skills and capability.
  • Project manage and/or design manage small maritime projects.
  • Engage with clients, pursue opportunities, and win work.
Requirements
  • Chartered Professional Engineer (or ability to get chartership within agreed timeframe).
  • Tertiary degree qualifications in Civil or Structural Engineering.
  • Eligibility for Australian Government security clearance.
